Hello Domainers!
Hello, hello, hello from the UK, the south east of the UK actually.
I think it’s fair to say that if you mentioned the word ‘domainer’ or ‘domaining’ to most people in these parts, they would stare blankly back at you, as they would have when mentioning ‘email’ before it became mainstream.
But that’s the thing, will domaining become as mainstream as email is today? It may do. Certainly, there has never been a bigger push to get the masses in on it. More demand means higher values, simple equation.
Here in the UK, things are inevitably going to be different in the domaining world, than they are in another country. Just to make it clear; this blog isn’t solely about the dot uk namespace, any tld could be a focus. This is about what the business looks like from a different location.
I’ve been experimenting with this domaining lark for nearly a year, so bear with me on some things and I’ll tell you how I see it and things that I have learned from experience.
